The surprising 2:1 win for Man United over their country rivals Liverpool has given them their first win of the season and their first three points in the season. This definitely has caused a different mood at the camp of the united players and their fans are on a different level even to the fact that Chelsea lost their game a day before.

The two forwarders that were leading the attack along side Erikson namely Sancho and Radford were able to find the backed of the net respectively. Before this game no United play had scored goal in the whole of this season premier league after two games against two lower ranked sides.

However, this goals although cought the attention of many, there were several scenes that draw even the attention of the fans, the players themselves on the field. This was the performance exibited by the new signings of Man United LISANDRO MARTINEZ which made him emerged as the Man of the match.

Had it not been Casemiro, Martinez would have been the most expensive player Teng Hag would have Sign so far this summer. The Argentine had made himself known to the general public at Ajax where he wan the clubs player of the year 2021-2022 football season. Although his arrival at the premier league side is off doubt to many, it seems he is giving out the reasons why he was brought from there.

One thing most people should know is that Martinez is is doubt by most just because of his hight although his has proven that it should not be a factor at Ajax. His composure on the ball, playing skills, aggression at the appropriate time and correct timing for tackles are few of his qualities.

In the last premier league matches played off which he is part, he has made an excellent use of his aerial abilities that were doubtful by many to the point that he has won all the aerial duel he has gone for although his height is to his advantage but this will go a long way. In the just ended game between Man United and Liverpool, he had absolute control of the game between preventing the current best attackers in the premier league which Salah and Firmino.

In United's game against Brentford, he was substituted in the first half of the game and the media had it all over him however the Coach of the side had some faith in him just like when they were both in Ajax and at it stands he showed that he is truly who he is.
