A bond of love between my students and me
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
The words 'love' and 'liking' come from different options. Because love does not happen at the beginning; rather, before love begins, there is liking. Love begins from that liking. This can happen among any people—between siblings, between parents and children, among friends, and even among strangers. In front of you, I will talk about establishing a love relationship between my student and of me.
My student's name is Sakiya Kawsar Rafi. This boy came to my group last April and started studying under me. In the beginning, he was very scared of me and always stayed away from me. His parents spoke with me, and after talking, they told me that he is afraid when he sees me. This is normal because I teach the older students in the madrasa.
Additionally, the reason is that he is very small; he is only 9 years old, and he is a little scared when he sees me. However, when I learned about this, I tried to help him feel free. I called him close and tried to explain and make him feel comfortable. I listened to his words, and I also spoke to him through some encouragement, joy, and entertainment.
In this way, gradually she became weak for me, and there came a time when she would tell her parents that she also loves the teacher very much, and whatever the teacher says, she will do; whatever my teacher says, she will do. Now it reached a point where even if she does not listen properly to her parents, she listens to me properly. Her parents would say to me, 'Brother, please say something, she doesn't listen to me, she listens to you.'
It continued just like this, and until a few days ago, if she ate something, she would bring it for me, and even if it was just a chocolate, she would bring it. One day her father bought two chocolates and said, 'Now you will eat one and you'll eat the other in the afternoon.' But she brought them to give to me. She did not tell her father about this; rather, she gave it to me on her own
Exactly like this, whenever his father tried to give me whatever he bought for him, I would refuse, but then I would call his father again to inform him that his son is doing this. Then his father would tell me, 'Okay, take it and try to help him study better.' I mean, there is no personal benefit between his love and mine. He loves me as a teacher. He thinks I will make him do a lot of things. Everyone, please pray for him.
