Various kinds of plants and plenty of small fish in my little garden

Although my garden is not large, I tried to have various kinds of plants that I love in my little garden. As you can see from my previous post, white flowers which are my most favorite play important role in my little garden….

Apart from white flowers, there are also pink flowers. They can add colors to my little garden as well.

A lot of green buds of flowers are shown below.....

Not only flowers that I love, fruits are also my favorites. If I have a large garden, I would plant all kinds of fruits, so that I can eat fresh fruits directly from my garden throughout the year….

At present, in my little garden, I just started planting my most favorite fruit, “watermelon”. We call it as “tangmo” in Thai. Yeah! It is my nickname and profile name.

They just only baby plants. Um! Although I don’t think they can survive for long and produce some fruits for me, I’m very proud and really happy to see them growing every day.

The second fruit that I have tried very hard to plant is mango. This kind of mango in Thai is called "Nam Dok Mai”. I don’t know what its name in English.

Nam means water

Dok Mai means flower

I think, it’s because they are beautiful, like flower and so tasty…. If they grow well, then I can eat them sweetly with sticky rice. Oh! Yummy!

Although I’m not a vegetables lover, chilies and limes are among the ones that I eat and plant in my little garden.

As you can see via the below photos, there are a lot of baby chili plants and some baby lime plants in the pots.

Little lives just begin in my little garden.

I plan to plant more fruits such as durian, jackfruit, rose apple, rambutan, custard apple, and for vegetables, I plan to plant long bean, cucumber, tomato in my large garden. Ha ha! Very long list!

Apart from plants, I also would love to have a huge pond in my large garden, so my small fish can swim happily all day long…. At present, there are plenty of them living in four little ponds in my little garden. Their name in Thai is “Pla Hang Nok Yung”.

Pla means fish

Hang means tail

Nok Yung means peacock

“Pla Hang Nok Yung” means fish that has beautiful tail, the same way like peacock has. Unfortunately, only male fish has the beautiful tail. From the photos, you may notice that there are female fish more than male fish. This maybe because they can easily noticeable from birds that come to visit my ponds and eat them every day! That's so sad.....

(Some of them had very long journey from my parent’s large pond in Phatthalung in the South of Thailand to my small ponds in Nonthaburi, nearby Bangkok. My father gave them to me while he still alive. Every time I feed the fish, I miss him so much.)

The last four photos are my most favorite flower, jasmine, as I told you. They are just blooming today, so I would like to show them to you in this post.

Their sweet fragrant makes me feel refreshed. Oh! I wish you can feel it via the photos!!

Thanks a lot for your nice comment. I'm glad that you like the flowers. Yeah! I love the colors of the flowers, too. ;)

This is wonderful garden and great photography.

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like my garden and photography. ;)

I like the peacock fish, and their buggy little eyes. Very cute. So nice to have them from your father. A very nice remembrance of him. Even though it is sad at that time. Special memories for sure.
The pink and white flowers are amazing as well. They don't actually look real. The colors are amazing. So nice you have have a garden. And I bet if you water the 'Tangmo's', and other trees, they will grow and grow and grow. I have my fingers crossed for you. (Do you have that saying in Thailand? Means I am wishing and hoping for you and your success.)
Well, enjoy your garden, seems it would be a great place to hang out on a hot day. Cheers my friend.

Yeah! Very nice remembrance and so special memories indeed! You have very good notice about the eyes of the fish! I just realize these from you now... ;D

I love the colors of these flowers, too. They are really amazing, as you said, I agree!

I think, we don't have that saying in Thailand. In the meantime, I also heard about this saying from other Steemians as well..... Thanks so much for further explanation about the meaning. I learned many words from you indeed; i.e. DD words, "saying", etc. ;)

And many thanks for your nice comment and your kind wishes. Have a wonderful night, GFF! ;))

Better not use too many DD words in Thailand, they might wonder about your a bit ( :
But I am glad you can learn a little from me. I'm sure you have learned a lot since being on Steemit. Your English has steadily gotten better and better since you started. Way back when. I wish I could say the same about my Thai. Large sigh. But at least I know a few. Hope your fish are doing well. Always nice to chat, my friend. Have a most wondrous day today. And say hello to the fish for me...

Ha ha! OKAY! I'll not use too many DD words in Thailand, I promise..... ;D

Yeah! I learned a lot (not little) from you and other Steemian friends since being on Steemit.

Oh! I'm really happy to hear that "my English has steadily gotten better and better since I started". I'll try my best....

I'm very glad that you know a few of Thai language now. That's great!

Ah! My fish ask me to thank you and say hello to you.... That's very nice of you!

Many thanks for your kind wishes! Have a pleasant weekend! I always enjoy chatting with you, GFF! ;))

Many thanks again and again for your great support to my works.

Wishing you and your family a beautiful weekend! ;)

It sounds like you have a large garden with all of the flowers and food you have planted. You will have to give us updates as they grow, especially your tangmo. Your flowers are beautiful and it was nice to see the jasmine in bloom. And yes, I feel refreshed from these photos. : ) You do have many fish and it is sad that the birds eat them, but that is how nature works. I think that all of us have things in our gardens or ponds that our parents had when we were children. Enjoy your beautiful garden @tangmo!

Ha ha! Not yet! It's just in my dream and I wish to have a large garden soon...... Ah! I would certainly love to help them grow and grow and grow as long as they can, but it may takes times. Or they may die before they can produce any fruits for me as I'm not a good gardener. If so, that'll be so sad!

Um! Regarding the fish and the birds, I tried to understand nature..... Luckily that these fish can produce many new fish in very short time as well. Yeah! Nature is very miracle indeed!

Thanks so much for your nice comment and your kind wishes. ;)

Wow! You have so many plants and flowers in your garden. This is quite impressive.
You actually use the seeds to grow your plants! This will take very long for them to bear fruits! But their roots would be very strong!

You jasmine plant is rich with many flowers!

Thanks so much for your nice comment. I'm happy that you found my flowers and plants interesting.

Ah! Very useful information from a good gardener! I'll be pleased to wait for their fruits even though I'm not sure whether they can survive for that purpose or not. Ha ha! ;D Thank you for your encouragement! I'm glad to hear that their roots would be very strong.....

Yeah! There are many more jasmine in bloom in my little garden now, so I can admire them every day... ;)

So beautiful flower photography my friend. ☺️👍
