The Diary Game: Finally Travelled Back Home After My Exams

Hello people trust you all are doing good, it's chiamaka okoronta but @chiamakag as my Steemit username. It's always my tradition to go to church before travelling, so I got very early in order to fetch water I'll use in bathing, because since 3 days in the hostel we've been having scarcity of water, so you need to fetch water whenever you see and keep, I forgot to fetch water last night to keep, which made me to wake up early and luckily there was water. So immediately I grabbed my bucket and went to the bathroom fastly and took my bath. After bathing, I wore my clothes and proceeded to church, I was so happy because I'll be seeing my family today, so while in church I corresponded to every activity with joy and excitement. After the mass was over I immediately went back to the hostel.

Going back to the hostel, I felt really hungry but due to the fact that I've washed and arranged all my dirty dishes because I was travelling, because I needed to arrange all my stuffs very well. I had to eat outside today, I didn't do the usual like buying of food in my plate and bringing it back to the hostel to eat, I ate outside instead. It was my first time eating outside so it felt so weird and I was so uncomfortable. But I had to eat it anyway, because I had no choice after eating, I paid the food seller and left her shop. On reaching the hostel I was so weak after eating and decided to rest for a while.

In the process of resting, I slept off and was woken up by a call from my course mate who was also travelling to the same place with me, so she called me that she was ready and she'll soon start coming out. And I wasn't ready at all because I decided to rest a bit and slept off unknowingly, I hurriedly started packing my clothes because I don't like keeping someone waiting, I used rush hour and packed all my stuffs I'll need, the break is just a short break so I packed little clothes, removed my bed sheet on my bed, prayed, and headed outside to go and meet my Course mate who was already waiting for me outsied the gate.

So we met at the place we planned to meet and then we headed straight to the car park in order to board a bus. When we reached the car park we were told to go the counter and pay the necessary fee, which we did, our loads were being loaded into the car trunk, and then we were good to go, but we still had to wait a little bit because the passengers were not complete and we must be complete before the car will move, finally we were complete. The driver shut the doors, entered the driver's sit and zoomed off.

That was how our journey started, and immediately we hit the road I began praying in the bus for a safe journey to my home and family. We got to a point and I started feeling so hungry, so i bought some plantain chips and ate while still inside the bus, I don't like sleeping in the bus whenever I'm travelling no matter how hard I try, it just didn't work for me. The journey was supposed to last 3 hours but because of the smoothness of the road the journey lasted just 2 hours 30 minutes. And finally I reached my destination.

When I got back home everyone was very happy jumping with joy to see me again, even my neighbours were all happy to see me again, I had to hug my parents and siblings so tightly because I had really missed them a lot, it's been like ages. So we talked, talked and talked about everything that had been going on in everyone's life. The talk lasted and I started feeling hungry, luckily I saw bread and decided to drink tea which I did. After drinking my tea I rested a bit before I went out to my mum's shop to help her. I drank the tea with enough joy and happiness. I was so glad to see my family members again, they were also happy to see me too. Finally I'm back home to my parents after a long-time. I'm so happy to be around my family again.
