What this young man did is wonderful.
In my country, more than 20 years ago, the government gave mini-laptops to young people and school-age professionals. These computers came with the Linux operating system. However, much of it was removed, to be replaced by Windows 10.
I would like to learn much more about Linux.
I bought a second hand laptop from Gumtree Australia to save money during my initial stay there in 2011. When it arrived it has Linux System and a dead battery. Although dead battery was not a problem since there is no outage of power but the Operating system puzzled me for a few days but ultimately it's easy to handle. Thank you for the support.

My first computer I got it in 2013, it came with windows 7 then I installed windows 8, windows 8.1, windows 10, windows 11 and finally I decided to install Arch Linux. Arch is really fun to mess with and highly customizable. Even though I dont use that PC anymore, its a great memory. And I enjoyed your post. Its really good. I wish you all the best.
