SLC31-W2: Shop & Share Challenge - Visit a Supermarket or Mini Market.

in Traveling Steem25 days ago

Assalamu Alaikum I hope you are all well by the grace of Allah Almighty. Today I am going to participate in a challenge. Which was organized by @josepha brother. Through this challenge, an opportunity has been created to share real experiences about the supermarkets or mini markets around us. The shops from which we buy daily necessities in daily life. By sharing their experiences, others can also benefit. I like this idea very much. So today I will share details about a well-known mini super shop in my area “Habiba Super Shop”. Let's get started.,

The name of the shop I visited is “Habiba Super Shop”. It is located in the Badarganj CO Road area of Rangpur district. And it is very easy to spot because it is beautifully placed on the side of the road. There is a big signboard in front of the shop. Which attracts attention from afar. Although it is a mini super shop. Still, various types of products are available here. Such as, food items, cosmetics, household items and other daily necessities. I really liked seeing the products arranged so beautifully in a small space.

✓ Tell us why you chose that supermarket or mini market.

I chose Habiba Super Shop mainly because of its convenient location and accessibility. Since this shop is very close to my house, I can come here quickly when needed. And it is possible for me to complete my shopping in a short time. Also, almost all types of daily necessities are available in this shop together. Which reduces the hassle of going to different shops. The environment of the shop is clean and the products are neatly arranged. As a result, I found it very comfortable as a buyer. The good behavior and sincerity of the shopkeeper further encouraged me to choose this shop.

✓ The price of the item you purchased from the supermarket or mini market

I bought a daily essential product from this shop. A black mask which cost 5 taka per piece. I bought 4 masks. The price of every product I saw here is quite affordable and in line with the market price. Usually, the price of the same product is kept a little higher in many shops. But here I found the price to be comparatively reasonable. The price was appropriate according to the quality of the product. Which satisfied me as a buyer. This shows that the shop sets the price considering the buyers.

✓ Your shopping experience.

My shopping experience was very good in this store. Although the store is small, the interior is very neat and clean. The products are arranged in such a way that they are easy to see and find. The shopkeeper was very polite and cooperative. There were also a few employees inside the store. They were doing their job. Some were calculating on the computer. Some were taking pictures of the products and uploading them to the Habiba Super Shop website. Some were directly helping the customers in the store. Every time I entered, they helped me find the products I needed. Also, shopping here has become easier because of the modern payment system such as QR code banking and Nagad Bikash. Overall, my experience was satisfactory and enjoyable.

✓ What do you think the supermarket or mini market needs to do to expand and tell us if the business is lagging in patronage.

In my opinion, “Habiba Super Shop” can improve further. If they increase the quantity and variety of products. Currently, the shop is small, so it is not possible to keep all types of products. So if the shop can be expanded to a larger space, it will be possible to add more products. Also, online orders or home delivery are available. However, it will be easier to attract new customers if discounts or offers are introduced from time to time. I have noticed that the shop gets a moderate number of customers. So it can be said that it is not far behind. But there is definitely room for further improvement.

✓ Do you think a supermarket or a mini market should be more popular than a local business YES or NO? And support your options with what you have experienced before now.

In my opinion, YES Supermarket should be popular. But the importance of local shops cannot be denied either. From my experience, I have seen that supermarkets have many types of products available at once and it is very convenient for large purchases. On the other hand, local shops are very close and are much more effective for quick purchases in times of emergency. So I think, it is good for supermarkets to be popular. But the existence of local shops is equally important. Because they provide quick services in our daily lives.

Review:
"Habiba Super Shop” is a great place for people to shop from and being a beautiful place gives the supermarket an edge over others. The supermarket can increase its goods with time. Both supermarket and local shop are important in our society.
