Me Time

Hello Steemians lovers.
Long time no see, huh? How are you, my friends? I hope we're all healthy and that everything we do today and beyond is going smoothly. Today I want to share some photos of me relaxing outside.

Because I realize that I'm just like everyone else, I need some entertainment to pamper myself after the exhaustion of taking care of household chores as a wife. Even though I don't have children yet, as a woman or a wife, I'm never free from tasks like cooking, washing, sweeping, and so on. So for that reason, I also need to find freedom and have fun outside the home, and enjoy the outdoors, like traveling or culinary tours, like what I'm currently enjoying.

Today I decided to take a little "me time." It's not far, just near my house, at the end of a shady alley. I ordered sweet iced tea and a piece of my favorite simple recipe. It felt... so free.

While waiting for my order to arrive, I opened my camera. I snapped photos here and there: photos of the foggy glass, photos of leaves blowing in the wind, photos of my shoes dusty from sweeping all morning. Small things, but they made me smile. Alone.

Did you know? It turns out happiness is this simple. No need to go to Bali, no need for an expensive mall. Just sit quietly for 30 minutes, listen to the world go by without us having to "take care" of everything.

I chatted with the shopkeeper. She said, "Women should do this every once in a while. If you keep your tiredness bottled up, it'll explode in the kitchen, and the plates will be the victims." 😂 That's true.

So for all my female friends out there, wives, mothers, or anyone who's in "give-in" mode every day... Come on, give yourself some space. Don't feel guilty. The house won't collapse if we're absent for an hour. But our hearts will collapse if we never fill them.

I'll upload a photo of it in the next post. So we can all feel this "relaxed, carefree" vibe together 💛

Thanks You.
