My Extended Family Photo at My Little Sister's Wedding
Hello Steemians lovers.
Today, my younger brother is holding his wedding to the woman he likes, and they've been dating for over two years. So, today I want to share my story with all my Steemit friends.

Okay, friends, so here's my story today. My house is suddenly bustling today, busier than usual. Not because of Eid. But because my only younger brother is officially leaving his single life.
Since morning, my house has been like a market. Aunts are fighting over powder, uncles are busy fixing their peci (traditional hats), nephews are running around in their party clothes. Mom has been teary-eyed since dawn. Dad is quiet, but he's wearing the same suit he wore when he married me. Meanwhile, he's still busy standing in front of the mirror, still undressed.

When the ceremony was over, everyone felt relieved. It was official. Hugs, handshakes, tears, and laughter all rolled into one. My chest felt tight, but it was a happy tightness.
And this moment, the extended family photo, was the one I'd been waiting for the most.
We lined up. From the elderly grandparents to the youngest nephew still in my arms. Everyone was neat, everyone smelled fragrant, and everyone's smiles were genuine. In the middle were the two people who were king and queen for a day: my little brother and his wife.
What I captured wasn't just a picture. It was also a prayer. A prayer from my mother, who whispered throughout the event. A prayer from my father, who patted my little brother firmly on the shoulder. A prayer from all of us, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, cousins, and nephews.
The prayer was simple: May your marriage be peaceful, loving, and merciful. May your fortune be smooth, your patience be broad, and your love last until you reach your grandparents. If there's a storm, come home. Here, in this extended family, there's always a place for you to shelter.
To my little brother, congratulations on your new life. My brother's job of taking care of you is done. Now it's your job to take care of your wife and your little family.
For those of you reading this, I'm not sharing this photo to show off. But to share happiness. Because when happiness is shared, it doesn't diminish. It actually increases.
Thank you to all the family who came from far away. You are proof that blood is thicker than water. And that family love never dies.
Thanks You.
