Empty data on ics files when opened from a shared location

Expected behavior

After exporting my bookmark to a contact in ics file data form, I wanted to check to be sure of the bookmark sent using diary app, I expected to see the date and time of the event.

Actual behavior

After using diary app to open it, I saw an empty data which is not having any details useful.

How to reproduce

  • you need a .ics file first which you can get mine here
  • now download the diary app also
  • locate the file and click to open it
  • select using diary app
  • empty data
  • Notes: this file works fine on Vcalender and the Two Location tested where whatsapp and drive
  • Mobile: infinix note 4
  • Operating system: android 7.0
  • version: 1.27

    • openning a ics file is not the feature of the diary app
