The Cost Of Family Support

Image

There is no price that one can assign to the sacrifice for their family. All calculations stays as numbers on a paper, when the counter part becomes a loved one. But, if there was a price, what would it be?

Few years ago, and in a small town. Where almost everyone was living a mediocre life. When classes were not yet a thing. All the residents were living similar lives. Living to their provide necessities, or just survive the day. That was their life back then, before many of their women lost their husbands before the war. Evilyn was one of them. She heard of the huge factory, just a walking distance out of town. No one was left to provide for her children after she lost her husband. She went their for the first time and it was exactly as people describe it. A big building, many women gather inside, wearing their traditional clothes. But, the same face expression amongst all of them. She had no word to describe the long hours they spent and the continuous work they were put to do. Except, misery. It was at that moment, when she felt pity for them for a moment, before joining them, and all she had in mind was her children back home.

Me encantó leerte. Un abrazo.
