Vibes Music Community is a global community aiming to achieve unity and harmony amongst people of different cultural and ethnic groups around the world. Our aim is to spread love through music. Every week is a moment to reconnect with friends and express yourself through music. With much gratitude in our hearts, we are sending much love to every music artist and friends of Vibes Community. Here in this community, we want to express the thrill and joy that comes with music having all language barriers broken down. Let our events and competitions in this community present good feelings and bring us all together. By joining hands together and focusing on the positive side of life together we can make the world a better place.

The rules:

  1. You are to show yourself at the first part of your music presentation saying, This is an entry for the Vibes Web3 Music Competition week (you mention the week number) Then you mention your username before going on with your presentation.

  2. The way you introduce yourself on the video and the song you are presenting must be recorded in one video (It must not be separated) editing to join your presentation with old videos is not allowed.

  3. You are only allowed to post your music entries once in a week between Monday and Sunday and it must be posted in this Vibes community. Once after the announcement of the winners of the week are made, it is unacceptable to repost a video from previous weeks.

  4. English is to be used as the main Language in the Vibes community but you can still write versions of what you've written about in your own language if you wish

  5. It is required of you to properly cite song lyrics images instrumental tracks you use in your presentation in order for the original authors to have the credit.

  6. Do not post more than one music entry in a week, also you are only allowed to post one music review concerning another person's music entry for the week just like a judge, detailing your observations, the persons performance and why you think the person stands the chance to win for the week.

If you do not adhere to the first three rules mentioned above your account will be muted.

Community guidelines for curation:

  1. Producing your song presentation:
Every week on the vibes music community there is a theme and all music entries or presentations are to align with that theme.
Take for instance this week's theme is "mother's love". All songs or music entries are to be about mother's love. Every Monday a new theme will be published Entries about it will be made and end on Sundays at midnight. Different kinds of musical presentations are welcome acapella vocals instrumentals tracks accompaniment and backing. This is an opportunity for many to discover their talent and to build it. Developing yourself singing and performing like you are on the stage of live performance.
It's of great importance to know how to sing the song you want to present without looking at or reading the lyrics while presenting, because that will not be acceptable in this community.

  2. Singing a song while the original song is singing within the background is totally unacceptable.
It is not acceptable and will be termed abuse to repeat songs you've performed before if there is nothing new you want to present with it creatively. Always include the link to the source of instrumental track, song lyrics etc. you use in your presentation or article before posting.

  3. Presenting your video:
The first part of your video which is also the first part of your presentation will be you introducing yourself and stating that it is an entry for the Vibes Music community.
For example “Hello everyone (Steemians), this is my entry for the vibes nation web3 music competition week 1. My name is @yourusername, today I'll be singing (mention your song title). If it's a song cover you're doing, you can say today I'll be doing a song cover of… I hope you like it (then start singing/performing).

  4. Both this introduction and your musical recording should be on the same video and from the same moment. You are not to upload them differently or appear in different locations to join during editing to appear as one, NO. It will make your entry invalid. Make sure not to cut some part of your video in mid-performance. Even if you are not going to sing an entire three minute song, make sure the part you will sing doesn't have any section that will be cut off in between (mid-section).
Your video for the presentation must not be shaking so it's best you have a steady support for your phone or camera.

  5. The quality of your presentation including the sound quality will determine the level of support you will be given. We encourage good sound quality.
You are to represent yourself as an artist even through your videos and images so always try to give professional presentations even if your entry is short or simple. We encourage you to record your video in a well-lighted environment or room and also try to avoid background noise from spoiling your beautiful recordings.

  6. Promoting your link:
Only one entry is allowed and your video presentation has to be posted in the Vibes Nation music community. The main language of this community is English. Also feel free to add its translation in your original language if you wish. You are to use #VibesNation as the number one tag in your post. Feel free to share the lyrics of the song you're presenting as part of your post or share a link to the source. Tell us what inspired you to sing the song, how the song makes you feel or the message it carries.

All this is to be written. Your video presentation and the writing that follows are to be in one post. Please target writing up to 300 words at minimum.
Remember to source every article you use which is not originally yours. As a community we value to know why you chose each song you're presenting. Another thing we will value is how you connect your music presentation to be in line with the theme of the week. Again, Proper citation is very important. Always make sure to give credit to any original author or artist you use their work. If the content, images, instruments, etc you use is not your own, you must provide a reference to the original website you get it from or owner. We encourage you to share original works.

If you are good in designing cover photos and arranging your posts try to always make sure your post looks appealing or attractive for viewers.
We encourage full listening. The Team Vibes Nation community aims to unite everyone in a world of peace and unity. Music is one of the best ways to pass a strong message that can affect millions of people. It is of great importance for you to figure out the best way to pass a message to your audience through your songs or music presentation. You are also encouraged to be a good listener to be able to obtain the message being passed by another musician or singer in their entry in order to give proper support either in comments writing a review post on the person's songs or supporting the singer in any other way that pleases you. We encourage respect among members of the Vibes community especially on music artists that will be presenting for each week.

Members of the Vibes community are also encouraged to write one review post on someone's music presentation per week. Take for instance At Mr. A sang a beautiful song. After watching the presentation carefully and listening in the best way possible you are encouraged to write about your observations on At Mr. A's music presentation taking note of everything you observed and detailing it. You can also tell us why you think the musician did well and stand a chance to be enlisted among the winners for the week. If it is our competition week you can participate as a musician or song presenter. You are also encouraged to support others.

We have noticed that many find it a difficult task to either upvote or comment on other people's presentation but always love to expect people to upvote their entries. No, here in the Vibes Nation community, if you had not dropped up to five different comments on participating musicians' posts each week you may not stand a chance to be enlisted among the winners of the weekly competition if you’re among the presenters unless you do otherwise. We want to see a community where everyone is active and not only expecting to receive but learn how to support one another and be active.

The Vibes Nation Music community is open to encouraging weekly contests, concerts of live music performances and promoting unity and love through music even to the ends of every continent, even to the ends of the world. The user @jewelking is the one who came up with this idea and it will continue to be carried out by a team of moderators who will be in position to maintain healthy interactions within this community, while maintaining order and seeing that the rules are not broken.

We will greatly appreciate any project that will embark on rewarding musicians in this community of ours. Your generosity will not be taken for granted as you embark on the journey to support good quality artistic expressions presented through videos in combination with written words of further expressions, inspirations, interactions through reviews or comments. We appreciate projects like yours that will selflessly focus on supporting talents.
The official @VibesNation account is new, created on Monday May 18th 2026.

We aim to strengthen our voting power so we can distribute greater rewards to encourage participation in the project.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
Together we build. Together we grow and by our collective efforts we'll strengthen Steem.
