Exodus 21:22-27
I remember doing posts on the genealogies back in b'reh-Sheet (Genesis) and the commandments are a bit tedious in a very different way. A lot of the Mits-Vote (commands) line up with common sense and some are a bit odd compared to modern laws. And, again, the slaves you see in the English interpretation speaks of servants that are exchanged for money for a six year period.
The first part reminds me of modern law. If a pregnant woman dies in a car accident (involuntary manslaughter), then two deaths are recorded. The scriptures speak of men who conspire to beat a woman causing her lose the baby or deliver early. So sad!
Many of these words coming from the mouth of The Almighty are harsh. If there is no harm, the husband will set the fine. Otherwise, it is life for life, eye for eye... etc. and I counted all of those as stipulated crimes and punishments on our Strict count below.
Eyes and teeth are covered regarding a man who strikes av'Doe (male servant) or ah-mah-Toe (female servant) and if the lose an eye or a tooth, they get early freedome, not having to wait until the end of the sixth year of service.
With that, our General /topical commandments count goes up to 25.
And our Strict /detailed list is at 53 commandments.
Hebrew scholars have been counting the laws provided by the creator for centuries. I am pretty sure that my count will be off. But you and I are giving it the old college try.

"When men strive together and hit a pregnant woman, so that her children come out, but there is no harm, the one who hit her shall surely be fined, as the woman's husband shall impose on him, and he shall pay as the judges determine. But if there is harm,' then you shall pay life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
"When a man strikes the eye of his slave, male or female, and destroys it, he shall let the slave go free because of his eye. If he knocks out the tooth of his slave, male or female, he shall let the slave go free because of his tooth
