I remember standing on the shore of the Gulf of Finland in spring several years ago. The sun was already setting, and its rays broke through the clouds, creating bright glare over the water. Every stone on the beach, large and small, seemed washed in gold. Waves gently rolled onto the shore, reflecting the light, and it was so peaceful. The trees on that side of the gulf looked almost black silhouettes against the bright sky. The evening was approaching, but the air was still fresh, with a slight smell of the sea. I then noticed how one particularly large boulder, right in the center, stood out with its gray surface among the reddish sand. Perhaps that's one of the reasons why I love these northern landscapes so much.
I love photography. I spend time in nature, walking around the city. And I often take pictures when I see something interesting.
I always edit my pictures (mostly using Lightroom) and love sharing them with the community.
