Competition 75:WATER DROPS
So much of our days are spend looking out and looking up that we’ve forgotten to look down. In this case, I had to completely change my perspective and descend to the wet soil and the moss to be gifted a microcosm that generally remains unheard of.
Post a recent gentle rain, the slender, hair-like stems of this often neglected greenery had temporarily become like a group of chandeliers, dangled with countless dozens of perfectly round and teeny water droplets.
Each bead of water serves as a powerful magnified view, a veritable diamond momentarily hanging before the sun would melt away its shimmer with its heat, later in the morning.
Life doesn’t need any big and grand canvas to make it count. Quite on the contrary, it can be in the smallest of opportunities!
There is an exquisite and quiet strength in delicate objects. It fascinates me that such grass weeds of thickness comparable to a thread managed to hold so much water within, balanced on the extremely narrow precipice of fragility.
Such is the sublime paradox of life and beauty within the simplest things. The water, the very force that pulsates the whole of earth, finding perch on some seemingly random everyday weeds! That's nature, the grandest artiste! Hence, I believe, so worthy of a showcase.

Las gotas aferradas a las delgadas hierbas dan la imagen de que son pequeñas florecillas.
Sí, muy poca hierba, pero hermosa de contemplar.
Así es.
