Drawing Grids with the Square Method

Mastering the front-view perspective is simple if we keep in mind some basic elements.
We'll define an eye-level line (or horizon line)and a center point or "vanishing point."
Next, we'll draw a line at the bottom to establish the station line, divide it into several equal parts, and then project these divisions toward the vanishing point.

By drawing a square on one side and using the method of the diagonals, we can draw the depth for each division.

Once you have drawn the first horizontal line to establish depth, you can project a large diagonal through all the vanishing lines you had drawn.

This method enables you to draw tiles in all directions to fill your drawing surface.
