CONTEST WORLD OF XPILAR WEEK 23 - SUNRISE AND SUNSET PHOTOGRAPHY

‎Hello steemians! Welcome to my blog. I want to use this medium to thank @sultan-aceh for organizing this creative contest.

‎Basically, my day never feels complete if I don’t get to enjoy the beauty of a sunset or sunrise. There’s something calming about watching the sky change colors slowly. That love for the sky is why I always go out with my smartphone, just in case I see a sight that catches my fancy.
‎

‎Honestly, this one was so tantalizing that I decided to share it here with you guys. I love seeing different sunsets and sunrises because no two days look the same. Each one has its own mood, its own shade of orange, pink, or gold. However, rain has deprived me of that experience for some days now. The clouds have been heavy, and most evenings end with a downpour instead of a golden sky. So when I finally saw something beautiful again, I felt like I had to capture it before it disappeared.

‎I was on my way to the market in Ikono Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, when I looked up and saw this amazing view in the sky. The clouds were layered, and the light was breaking through in a way that made everything glow. I couldn’t help but bring out my Infinix Smart HD and take shots. My phone is not a professional camera, but it has been faithful in helping me document small moments like this.

‎Stopping for just 2 minutes to take pictures reminded me why I enjoy these little breaks during my daily hustle. Life gets busy with errands, traffic, and market runs, but nature has a way of forcing you to pause. That sunset felt like a reward after days of rain.
