If you have problems with your steemkeychain, then you have an earlier version and it has been removed from the chrome store
This is the old version
Go to extension browser and remove the old version
Now you can download the new version of steemkeychain made by @happyberrysboy, go to the chrome store
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/
Once you have downloaded it for extensions, be sure to check it out for steemit.com
Create a new password and you can log in and import your keys

Yes, it's even more secure than the old/original version. @happyberrysboy also improved some security related stuff (I think it even requires less browser permissions).
