Review 01- MERCY FOR NONE (Kdrama)
Almost a month ago I watched mercy for none, a Korean drama released in 2025, and it perfectly matches my taste.
It’s a revenge based dark crime story. The 2025 Netflix Korean action-noir series Mercy for None is a major hit, having secured the number one spot in South Korea within one day of release and topping Netflix's global non-English series chart. It garnered 7.6 million views in its second week and charted in the top 10 in 75+ countries.

The plot follows a man who was once part of the criminal world but left that life behind. However, everything changes when his brother is mysteriously murdered. Because of his deep love for his brother, he returns to that dangerous world to seek revenge. As he uncovers who was involved in the murder, he takes them down one by one.
What I found especially interesting was the main character’s flat expressions throughout the drama it made his personality feel even more intense and unique.
The series has a total of 7 episodes, each around 38 to 49 minutes long, and it’s available on Netflix.
This is the kind of drama that gave me real satisfaction while watching, because it fits exactly the type of stories I enjoy. I would definitely recommend it to those who like dark, revenge-based plots. If you prefer soft or light stories, this might not be for you I’ll talk about those in another review.
This is my first time writing a review, so I know it’s not perfect yet. I’d really appreciate your feedback on how I can improve.
Wow, the review also speaks to my taste. I like crime and mystery, and this is one of those that should be on my watch list. And that turn when his brother was killed was really bizarre. Will see. Need more recommendations!
Yoohoo!
That’s a good thing that it was already on your list.
Do watch it for sure and share your review with me too.
