Abandoned Tuesday Challenge
This old fire hydrant sits alongside the road near one of our marinas on the bay. It hasn't been used for as long as I can remember and that's a long time. It still holds a lot of character all these years later so I thought I would share it with you all. Have a wonderful Tuesday.

Terrific patina on that old hydrant. Those old ones aren't much in use any longer anywhere. It's a shame that one has the sign actually on it. Why couldn't they have a notice beside it instead?
I LOVE the Patina too. They probably put the sign to make sure no firefighters try to work it. It is a cool piece though.
A very unique piece. Thats how I see it because we dont have it in my country
We have them everywhere. They are attached to all our water mains to assist firefighters in case of emergencies.
I guess they keep it for the dogs....
