[ESP/ENG] La llegada de las iguanas a mi jardín/ The arrival of the iguanas in my garden.

Hola queridos amigos de esta hermosa comunidad, hoy les hablaré sobre esta iguana y como siempre visita mi jardín, ella se puede alimentar de hojas frescas y flores, siempre destacando con ese verdor.

Trate de acercarme lo posible para obtener buenas fotos, algunas suelen irse de forma rápida y otras solo se quedan tranquilas.

Por la zona donde vivo las podemos encontrar en grandes cantidades y es que los árboles abundan, entre ellos frutales y otros mas antiguos.

Debemos dejarlas tranquilas ya que son animales en peligro de extinción, aunque en ciertos sitios las tienen como plagas.

Siempre las encuentro de distintos tamaños y formas, los machos si suelen ser algo agresivos y con un color que los caracteriza.

Hello, dear friends of this wonderful community. Today I’d like to tell you about this iguana that frequently visits my garden; it feeds on fresh leaves and flowers, always standing out with its vibrant green color.

I tried to get as close as possible to take good photos; some tend to scurry away quickly, while others just stay calm and still.

In the area where I live, we find them in large numbers because trees—including fruit trees and older, established ones—are plentiful.

We should leave them undisturbed, as they are an endangered species, even though in some places they are considered pests.

I often encounter them in various sizes and shapes; the males tend to be somewhat aggressive and display a distinctive coloration.

De pequeña si les tenia mucho miedo, ya de grande las he sabido tratar y dar su espacio, mi jardín es amplio y dejo que ellas se queden.

Son muy adorables, además se ven tan elegantes con su larga cola, algo que me gusta es observar a las recien nacidas, poseen un hermoso verde que me encanta.

Algunas veces se pueden camuflar entre los arboles sin ningún problema, muchos animales les pasan por un lado y no se dan de cuenta.

I used to be very afraid of them when I was little, but now that I'm older, I know how to handle them and give them their space; I have a large garden and let them stay there.

They are truly adorable, and they look so elegant with their long tails. One thing I enjoy is watching the newborns; they have a beautiful green color that I love.

Sometimes they can blend into the trees effortlessly; many animals walk right past them without even noticing.
