[ESP/ENG] Una hermosa ave que lleva varios días rodeando mi jardín/ A beautiful bird that has been circling my garden for several days.

Hola queridos amigos de esta hermosa comunidad, hoy les hablaré sobre una llamativa aver de color negro y largo pico que ha estado merodeando mi jardín, algunos lo llaman carrao.

Quizas se alimenta de pequeños caracoles y gusanos ya que estamos en invierno y mi jardín es muy amplio con abundantes plantas.

Me encanta tener esta ave de visitante y espero pueda encontrar buen alimento para ella, yo la dejo tranquila el tiempo que desee.

Su largo pico es agradable y también le sirve para buscar comida en lagunas o espacios con poca agua, buen diseño de la madre naturaleza.

Sus patas también le permiten posicionarse muy bien en sitios dificiles y ramas de árboles, algo que me gustó de el es que ya no se ve tan nervioso.

Hello, dear friends of this beautiful community. Today I’ll tell you about a striking black bird with a long beak that has been hanging around my garden; some call it a carrao (limpkin).

It likely feeds on small snails and worms, given that it is winter and my garden is quite large and full of plants.

I love having this bird visit, and I hope to find some good food for it; I simply leave it be for as long as it likes.

Its long beak is a fine feature that helps it forage in ponds or shallow water—a brilliant design by Mother Nature.

Its legs also allow it to perch securely in tricky spots and on tree branches; one thing I’ve really liked seeing is that it doesn't seem so nervous anymore.

Si bien es cierto no me acerqué mucho para sacarles fotografías debido a que al hacerlo se iba volando, estoy aprendiendo del proceso.

Estos animales puede que estén en peligro de extinción y es por ello que debemos dejarlos tranquilos y hacer su trabajo alimentándose de lo que quiera.

Espero pueda conseguir su pareja y tener muchas crias, me encantaría que lo pueda lograr y así ver mas de ellos.

While I didn't get very close to take photos—since doing so would cause it to fly away—I am learning from the process.

These animals may be at risk of extinction, which is why we should leave them undisturbed to go about their business and feed on whatever they choose.

I hope to find a mate for it and see plenty of offspring; I would love to achieve that and see more of them.
