The Indian palm squirrel Funambulus palmarum
This adorable wild creature can often be found frolicking in our garden: They jump, run, and climb trees, walls, roofs, galleries, and terraces—essentially, they are everywhere! Watching them and their activities is wonderful. Very funny. Last year, I took some photos of a mother squirrel gathering materials, possibly to build a nest or make a mattress. In our garden, coconut husks are always available. Sometimes, when I peel fresh coconuts, I place the husks under the trees. I observed the squirrel forming a round ball shape by picking up the husk from the pile and using her paws and mouth to shape it. When she noticed me, she appeared a bit shy. I picked up my camera and followed her to see what she would do.

I love how you captured the squirrel forming a ball shape with the coconut husk, what a unique and funny observation! Your photos are truly adorable, they bring so much joy to the post 🐿️💕
