I love the architecture

When you take pictures of old or classical buildings, what bugs you about the photos?It's usually the modern skyscrapers and concrete towers that stand behind the old architecture.These modern structures mess up the picture and make the ancient building look small and less important next to them.Exactly!

The ancient building you see in the photo is part of Yu Garden, a famous classical Chinese garden in Shanghai.
Yu Garden is one of the most well-known ancient gardens in China.It was built in the 16th century as a retirement home for Pan Yunduan, a rich scholar from the Ming dynasty.He wanted to give his parents a luxurious place to live.The construction started in 1559 and finished in 1577.

Yu Garden covers more than twenty thousand square meters in Shanghai.
It's a great example of ancient architecture, offering a special and magical view of traditional Jiangnan-style buildings from southern China.You can see various pavilions, long corridors, terraces, ponds, and classical buildings inside the garden.
