CryptocuRency Conception
Enriching the proletariat by printing money at home. The first six minutes of this video show how, the rest is all theme tune over videos I found on my computer yesterday morning. Jazz improv theme tunes from albums I put out under the names of each cryptocuRency: BitcoYn , EthereOm , DogecoYn and AlgoranB . I only came across these video clips because I was looking for files to move onto an external hard drive. They were filmed last summer, dumped in a poorly named folder and forgotten about. Precious beginnings of CryptocuRency, like finding video of Nijinsky dancing @ronthroop , Emma and I were talking about on a recent Black Ivory podcast. Also like the encouragement of Ron to video archive his studio on the same podcast, that he’s subsequently been doing a lot of since.
I’ve been drip feeding CryptocuRency into The Camden Market Free Art Man display for a while now, so some low numbers are already out there. I'll make these people rich. The relative few who stop and show an interest in Free Art Frees Art. In most cases putting their support on permanent record by doing a one minute interview for my YouTube. All these gold dust people, Camden Market provides thousands of to be exploited by anyone who can be bothered. When I get an assistant The Camden Market Free Art Man will be a daily event. Not just weekends when the weather is nice.
Each card is numbered on the front and detailed video and photographic records kept publicly online making forgery impossible. The cryptocuRency blockchain. Individually hand stamped, hand made using cardboard left out for the bin collectors round Camden and Muswell Hill. Here's a photo of a half finished super bling display frame.
The gold glitter's something I did when working as an assistant to Jimmy Kauty on his glittery police riot shields. Jimmy came up with the idea and method, and showed me how to do it. I think we made 31 in that edition, most of which I made in his basement studio.
