Birdman and the Butterfly - office art by @mariandavp
Today I drew a dream I had last night... I dreamt of birds, the size of a man, standing on my balcony. I couldn't see their faces, just their backs.
I couldn't tell if it was night or day, the sky had this blue green color the early night has but it also seemed like dawn. Ι opened up the door to check on them and what they were doing on my balcony, and suddenly one of them turned into a man. And then another. And another...
Ιn my dream I thought they must be angels, although their wings and feather were not angel-like (you know all white and shiny). I think they were discussing about me and what they thought I should or shouldn't do.
I don't recall much more apart from a huge butterfly entering the scene. It seemed she was conscious of everyone being there, and one of the Birds paying attention to her. She landed on his hand just like a butterfly had landed on my hand the other day.
Only they knew each other.

Any Rick and Morty fans around? RIP birdman :( this reminded me of it. Pretty good job again! Love the idea about being inspired by a dream too!

Nice dream ends with a perfect drawing. Another great job. Hope you have many more dreams which ends on paper ! Thanks
Wow! That was a trippy vivid dream!
Beautiful artwork as always. You have a good command of the use of contrast in your shading as your texture it. Your dream (The background story behind the painting) intrigues me. What may it be telling you or what perspectives there of? Interesting. Again exquisite artistry my friend.
