Digital drawing
I recently created a cityscape drawing called City Lines at Dusk using a digital drawing app called Sketchpad, I read about it on @shortcut's blog. The app has some really fun tools and brush styles so I decided to try drawing a portrait using the tools .
Creating a portrait
I used the sketchy drawing brush to create a series of curved lines to form the portrait
I added a red circle in the eye to create a focal point for the image and then drew on the glasses.

I haven't been able to do as much digital drawing as I would like this week- but i have found this app fun.

I find it a fun sketching tool to use @jungwatercolor, it gives some funky effects.
Very interesting! When first seeing the drawing I said to myself: "What's the point of the red eye?" But now I get it ;)
Remember the old days before red eye reduction on digital cameras? When the camera flash would give people red eyes? Well I'm trying to bring that look back ;D
