Empiezo a pensar que cada vez hay más personas introvertidas y hipersensibles que se refugian en su propia burbuja. Desconectarse y no seguir las noticias alivia el estrés, lo puedo decir por experiencia. Por desgracia, a mí me cuesta hacer cosas sin electricidad porque oscurece enseguida. En sí mismo, eso no me molesta, porque también me gusta estar a oscuras y más bien tengo la sensación de que tengo que hacer mil cosas cuando hay electricidad (y, por tanto, también tengo agua). A veces sigo teniendo internet porque tengo un router móvil.
El bordado, con puntadas de cruz, nunca me ha gustado mucho. Siempre me costaba manejar la aguja. En nuestra familia, solo mi madre lo hacía cuando no trabajaba. Hacía cosas grandes, como manteles y tapices.
Me parece muy impresionante que lo hayas aprendido por tu cuenta. Queda precioso. Tengo curiosidad por ver el resultado final.
Es bueno centrarse en algo y obtener un resultado tan bonito.

I’m starting to think that there are more and more introverts and highly sensitive people who are retreating into their own bubble. I can say from experience that distancing yourself and not following the news can actually relieve stress. Unfortunately, it’s difficult for me to do anything without electricity because it gets dark so quickly. That’s not a problem in itself, as I also enjoy sitting in the dark, and I tend to feel that I have to get everything done whilst the electricity is on (and I therefore have water too). Sometimes I still have internet access because I have a mobile router.
I’ve never really enjoyed embroidery, particularly cross-stitch. I always found it difficult to handle the needle. In our family, only Mum used to do it when she wasn’t working. She made large items such as tablecloths and wall hangings.
I think it’s particularly impressive that you’ve taught yourself. It looks absolutely beautiful. I’m looking forward to seeing the end result.
It’s good to focus on something and end up with something so lovely.
