The Value of Parents — A Heart-Touching Advice

A young man complained to a religious scholar

My parents are old, I fulfill their every need, yet they remain angry with me.

The scholar looked at him carefully and said:
Son! This is the reason for their anger… You give them what they ask for.

The scholar said:
Have you ever thought… When you were not born, your parents had already prepared everything for you?
Your clothes, your food, your safety, your comfort… They even took care of your every small and big need.

Did they ever ask you whether to admit you to school or not Did they ask your permission to plan your future?

No… They always fulfilled your need before you asked.

Your first bicycle your first school your first job
Even your education your conversation your way of life
Everything was given to you without asking.

And today you say that I give what they ask for…
Son! Parents are not there to ask for…
