Relaxed Painting - 1 hour painting continued
While @aellly is putting the finishing touches on his horse (the subject fits perfectly with the new year), I took down the painting I wanted to finish in an hour today. And so one painting turned into ten. Regardless of what @lupega thinks, I'm pleasantly surprised. No, not by that stupid masking tape that obviously damaged the paper, but by the result.
Of course, many more hours will be spent finishing each painting (or is it just a part of it). However, that will have to wait a while because I'm still working with watercolours (after that "colourful" clown, there were more colourful examples I could have made, but honestly, I prefer black).
I've done a way too colourful one twice. So tomorrow I'm going to do the third version, just in black and white. That seems more relaxing to me. I also started painting the betta fish on canvas. Due to the lack of light, I held the frame on my lap and looked at it from the side so I could at least see where the paint is and isn't.
I'm curious to hear how @almaguer paints in the dark and whether there are others who paint or draw with the light problem, or rather the lack of light.
The bit too colourful
Well, the teachter said, since you don't like it you can try out what happens if you use the fixation spray on it. I tried it out the answer is: nothing. You'll see, she continued, you will like it after you painted it with oil paint.

I enjoy these kinds of paintings because I sense the artist's strong instinct; they convey emotions without becoming overly pictorial. We don't need hyperrealism to leave art and thoughts with others. Beautiful sunsets, from your paintings to the memories.
Which one you enjoy? The last colourful one? It's too much to me, I do like the cats though and the comments since they trigger something new.

I like this! I'm imagining it in a Muji themed wood frame with white border. But I need to ask about the bluish spot in the middle. The first thing I see is a lamb's head. I tend to see different things in patterns.
I see what you mean. At first it was bluish,a bit reddish and grey/black but I removed most of the colour except that blue.it's at a bit more places (the blue). I left it but do believe all shades of grey will look better. At least for me.
The bluish stood out because of this. I think it's nice

I like both, although the first a bit more. I guess that baby blue adds a bit extra to the sky and water but if you ask me purple would be better for me (closer to back as well) 😁
I like how the first picture seems like what you paint with brush and then there's flowing paint that matched the context. But how do they do that? Paint that part on flat surface and immediately let it stand?
I assume the used water and the water makes it flow... you can drip with a brush or indeed move the painting in the direction you like the paint/ink to flow.
This made me think of stained glass :)
You can make an overhead wooden frame in the form of a glazing (for example, something like a bookcase door)

Great tip! I will see what to do with this puzzle once I finish all ten parts. I like it if they show something, if looking closer. Each part should be a story on its own.
By the way, a stained glass window can be made with a small interior light)
I wonder if a painting ons different type of paper wouldn't be better. I will keep a light about these to see it's effect

Cold weather can be very torturous, especially at our advanced age. I hope you'll get through these difficult days smoothly and things will improve soon.
It's the dry season where I live, but it's been raining constantly for the past few days, and I'm really worried about flooding again.

Yesterday it rained here as well and during those days it is hard to make a fire. I hope you are not heading to the next flood. Did the government aid give those clothes at all? Thank you for your kind remarks. I believe it is time to turn to some different art. I did watercolour paint long enough.

Di tempat ku tidak ada bantuan pakaian bahkan sembako saja baru sekali waktu itu, sekarang kami dapat paket puasa berupa beras sekitar 3 atau 4 kg, minyak goreng, kacang hijau, sirup , dan di hari makmeugang dapat daging 4 ons hanya itu saja.
Semoga banjir tidak terjadi lagi walaupun sebagian daerah sudah mengalami banjir juga karena hujan deras dan air tidak bisa mengalir dengan lancar karena tanah yang terbawa saat banjir kemarin masih tersumbat alirannya
Tidak ada bantuan, dan itu hanya untuk menjaga penampilan? Mungkin untuk dunia luar? Saya penasaran bagaimana Aceh akan menyelamatkan diri jika benar-benar merdeka. Bagaimana kalian akan menangani masalah-masalah seperti ini? Mungkin sebaiknya diselesaikan sekarang agar bisa berkata: "Lihat, ini yang telah kami lakukan, sekarang sudah selesai."
Di sini, jalan setapak juga tergenang air karena hujan atau salju yang mencair, dan tanahnya jenuh. Yang aneh adalah ada parit yang digali di samping jalan. Saya juga memiliki kolam di kebun saya, tetapi tidak ada setetes air pun yang mengalir ke sana. Jembatan saja masih belum selesai juga sampai saat ini, jembatan darurat dan kami harus rela antri sampai berjam-jam lamanya untuk bisa melewatinya.
Dan besok hari Minggu Akau akan melakukan perjalanan ku kembali ke tempat kerja mungkin aku akan berangkat lebih awal supaya tidak kemalaman di jalan mengingat bulan puasa.
Kenapa kuda-kudanya berdiri di atas papan? Apakah mereka kedinginan?

Saya pikir dalam kondisi seperti ini lebih baik berangkat lebih awal, meskipun perjalanan akan memakan waktu lebih lama, tapi semoga lebih sedikit stres. Untungnya ada ekskavator berat yang bisa membantu. Saya juga tidak yakin bisa membersihkan semua lumpur itu. Baru-baru ini saja saya kesulitan mengangkat kapak dan memecah beberapa batang kayu dengan itu.
Hahaha, tidak ada kuda di atas papan, paling-paling sebuah trailer, karena ban tidak akan menjadi lembut. Penerjemah telah mengubah kata "paden" menjadi "paarden" (kuda). Dan "blank" menjadi "plank" (papan). Dalam bahasa Belanda, keduanya sedikit mirip, terutama saat ditulis atau mungkin diucapkan, tetapi tentu saja artinya sangat berbeda. Saya telah mengubah tanggapan di atas. Selamat jalan, jaga diri baik-baik.

I can only paint by numbers.
I tried that too but it was a disaster. What type of paint you use?
Perhaps you should make some basic sketch without details and just fill it out without a certain time and see how that goes.

Mine was something else. If you ask me some cheap waterbasis paint. I kept seeing the numbers even after several layers.
Ah-ha, that's what I'm talking about! The main task is to cover up those numbers! And you end up with blunders)
Oh, you dealt with that problem too. I found it annyoing and it's a total waste of money. I can imagine how agitated and furious some children and people get if they have to do this. What I also hated was the low-budget brush and the cardboard canvas not being straight. I believe I posted it with @wakeupkitty.pal before I threw it away.
