Judge Halts Razing Of Miami Forest Eyed For Walmart Center

The Florida leafwing Butterfly is endangered along with the Bartram’s scrub-hairstreak butterfly. Both species were common around Miami and the Florida Keys before development wiped out much of their natural habitat, according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
