A three pocket Bitcoin symbol card wallet handcrafted by Armadilloman

New in the Armadillo Leather shop -- the 3 pocket Bitcoin symbol card wallet. Handcrafted and hand colored and sewn. Will hold 6-8 cards in a front pocket package when it is fully broken in.

The parts and tools...leather, embossing plate and cutting die.

Center the bitcoin embossing plate (which I had custom made for this project) on dampened veg tanned cowhide on the base of 4 ton clicker press.

Pull the handle, emboss the leather.

To create the vintage finish look, start with a light brown streaked in.

The leather is covered in a high lite stain and then wiped off the raised areas with a damp cloth, leaving the stain in embossed pattern.

Back at the clicker press the card wallet die cutter is centered on the leather, the handle brought down and the wallet pocket cut.

The four pieces of leather used to assemble the wallet finished and ready to glue together.

A stitching groove is cut in each side of the wallet after the pocket is glued to the center pieces.

Stitching holes are punched down the groove with a multi pronged diamond chisel punch.

Stitching is done with a double needle stitch using waxed thread.

The edges are dyed, burnished and then waxed and the wallet is finished.
