Did you HODL or FODL for Christmas?
Most people in cryptocurrency will be new to the market and probably entered sometime in 2017 and so saw mostly a never ending sometimes parabolic move up. So the volatility, mostly to the downside, over Christmas may have spooked many of the newbies into folding and getting out of the crypto markets.
What did you do?

if i can buy with bitcoin and i "need" it then i do, otherwise i hold. fees to transfer to fiat paper is insane.
That's a good answer! Money has to circulate to nourish an economy.
im not someone thats in it to get rich, I am basically the consumer on bitcoin. i exchange my other crypto into bitcoin as i know it is spendable and also a store of value. The more i can avoid fiat and the petrol dollar the better. IMO atleast.
