I love the sentiment that you expressed. Sadly, I doubt Bitcoin is free from manipulation. Maybe when there is mass adoption of Bitcoin or another crypto, that will be true.
i think you are right in a sense. btc cannot be hacked or manipulated but people with lots of money can certainly push their weight around to create false demand or the opposite.
