RE: Money and Greed: A Healthier Perspective Needs to Be Cultivated
Well written and great for reflection. I actually asked myself these questions a little while back. Why do I feel the need to make money even though my husband is providing for us? Will I ever reach “enough”? I finally got the heart of the matter and it’s been life changing!
Thanks for your thoughtful input @hebrewhousewife.
I don't have the exact quote, since I heard it in my early 20's but it goes something like this:
An old man on his death bed never asks for more time for work but instead for more time to spend with family and the ones he loves.
It was always important to me to spend quality time with my children doing things that I thought mattered. I feel like I accomplished that while raising two children into smart, loving adults. If we had more money back then, would we have been happier? Probably not. :-)
