Holiday Orchestra Christmas Concert | Belle of the Ball & Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 4
When our children were younger, we often looked for meaningful activities to keep them engaged during the school holidays. Holiday Orchestra was one of our favourites: children spent several days rehearsing together before performing in a final concert. On 30 December 2023, our eldest played the cello and our second child played the violin at West Road Concert Hall in Cambridge. More than the performance itself, I valued the sense of participation, responsibility and teamwork they gained from playing as part of an orchestra.
