The Conflict of Old and New

Istanbul is truly an ancient city with so much beauty, so much history, and so much culture. But you know what I wish we didn't have here? High rises. There is something so beautiful and ancient about this specific city that, honestly, this new development just really isn't helping.

If you look at the first photo I took, you can see in the right there's some sort of tower that really sticks out from the rest of the buildings. It just isn't matching, and it's kind of disappointing to see, isn't it? It was something I really tried to consider while editing this photo. I could've easily taken my software and taken the tower off to show the true beauty and classic look of the ancient city, but I decided against it. I wanted to share this and be honest with you all.
