Skills Alone Won't Save You in the AI Era

Hello friends,

I hope everyone is doing well and having a wonderful day.

Today I want to share a thought that has been on my mind for the past few weeks.
Everywhere I look, people are giving the same advice.

"Learn AI."

"Take another course."

"Get more certificates."

At first, I thought this was the only way to stay ahead. So I started saving different courses and tutorials. But after some time, I realized I was learning more and doing less.

Then I noticed something interesting.

One of my friends doesn't have many certificates, but he keeps building small projects and sharing them online. Another friend has completed many courses, but he is still waiting for the "right time" to start.

That made me think.

Maybe the problem isn't a lack of skills.
Maybe the problem is that we spend too much time preparing and too little time creating.
AI is changing many jobs, and that's true. But I don't think another certificate alone will protect us.

What really makes a difference is showing what we can do.

A small website.

A blog.

A design.

A YouTube channel.

Even a simple project can say more than a long list of completed courses.

My Opinion

Learning is always a good investment, but learning without action has very little value.
Instead of asking, "What should I learn next?"
I think we should ask,

"What can I build with what I already know?"
That question changed the way I think about learning.
