Brahmaputra River,Kurigram

The Brahmaputra River entered Kurigram of Bangladesh through Assam of India after being divided into different channels. The upazilas are located on the east side of the river. The land area is 5,000-kilometre wide. Assam and Meghalaya States of India are situated on the eastern side of the river. So the position of the upazilas is very important for national security.
