If You Want To Blow Your Mind, Watch This Video of Brock Pierce
I ran into a completely mind-blowing video where Brock Pierce really lets his mind go into a deep dive, and I must say, this video is both completely awesome in its scope and also it shows just how advanced Brock Pierce's mind is....
Hang on:
As a weird side note, I was contacted by a guy who runs an artist collective in the UK last week. He mistook me for Brock Pierce. He contacted me via Messenger, and I thought he just was getting my name wrong. Halfway through the conversation I said, "I'm not Brock Pierce."
I have zero clue how he got me confused with Brock, but nonetheless I brainstormed with this guy about blockchain for about an hour.
Cheers,
Stella

That video is f.ucking awesome. I shared it with a lot of good friends who thanked me for it.
You can say that again..this is a great knowledge to gain.

that's so powerfull.
thanks for sharing it.
Mind absolutely blown @stellabelle but probably not for the same reasons as many here. I feel compelled to explain just a bit as to why. (first, I do not believe in coincidence)
I left state government service in 1995, washed my hands of the entire vile system, moved myself and children to a secluded mountain hide-away and dropped out of mainstream society all together.
However, in 1997 I was found and approached by a representative of the Kellogg Foundation. The reason was explained quite well by Brock Pierce in this video. when he ran the piece from the NBC news clip from 1995. The person who approached me asked if I would be a part of a task force to help those living in rural America. Without much explanation except that the task force was going to be fully funded by a MIRA (Managing Information for Rural America) Grant. (Although on the flight home I discovered the funding actually came initially from the Rand Corp.)
All expense trip to Kalamazoo Michigan (yes, I found out there really is a place called Kalamazoo), was set up in a five-star hotel for a weeks worth of work with approx. 100 other people.
In a general assembly the first morning we were given the task at hand and were divided into several work groups. The TASK? It seems there was this new technology called the Internet and it was not something being adopted readily by the general public. We were challenged to find a way to make it more appealing and to get it to every household and business across the nation.
Long story short, the rest is history!
I am really glad you posted this just at the right time for me. Maybe someday I'll explain that part a little better ;)
Thanks for sharing. I'm going to check out The Starfish and Spider book. I like Brock's energy.
Yeah, this guy is a genius.
Hi Stellabelle, thanks for sharing. In the video Brock mentioned that he founded Tether USDT, do you know if he is still involved with Tether?
Reason I ask is because in his speech, he also talks about the DAO and the importance of security. There's a lot fud being spread surrounding Tether, at the moment. Brock was mentioned in an article on Bloomberg recently regards an apparent hack of 31MM USDT.
Did you ask him how he made the mistake?
He said someone forwarded me to him by accident. The weirdest part of this story is that I first talked to an AI Brock Pierce bot, on Messenger. it's called Brock Bot. It was this bot that inspired me to program my own chatbot on Messenger....Weird!
Wow, I always say life is stranger than fiction because in fiction the plot has to make sense but in life, it really does not have to. But at least the chance meeting had some good outcome.
Brock Pierce does follow me on Twitter! that was a moment i remember! I am so impressed with his thinking....it's so futuristic.
I am trying to watch the video but my internet is acting up. Will watch it later. He has 11.2k followers. Wow.
6am, I'm half way through. This guy is smart!
I want the starfish book.
😁
Time for part 2...
I enjoyed this, thank you.
The last minute he was talking about me finding @utopian-io.
yeah, glad you enjoyed it....it really made me think bigger...
I did, and Ikigai, well that had to go into my utopian blog today.
Thank you for the inspiration, again :)
