Some ways to engage our customers

We need to be creative about ways to interact with our customers and for ways that they may interact with us.

Here are a few suggestions to get the grey cells working:

  • Polls - these allow customers to give feedback or interact in other ways, Having polls about new products or offerings can help customers develop a sense of ownership as they feel involved in the process.
  • Tours - in person or virtual give customers a sense of greater involvement or belonging.
  • Contests - these can be very creatively designed.
  • Sponsored events - allow customers to interact on a more social level.
  • Feedback on product testing - Makes customers feel they are part of the journey.
  • Points systems or loyalty programs - these can also be gamified.
  • Customer feedback or review portals - even negative feedback can be constructive if acted upon.
  • Dialog via social media or other avenues - give your customers a voice and let them interact with the voice of your business
  • Webinars - great for all sorts of messaging and interactions.

These are just a few ways we can engage and be engaged with. Trying them out will quickly show what works and is most effective and what needs more work or adjustment.

@sme thats a very nice way to get started, in doing small business, customer relationship is essential and very key to the business even more than profit, and when u hv a follow through with customer, they tend to want to come back and even introduce more persons, so @jedhen believes in creating trust in SME

A great post. But a situation where its hard to get customer feedback what way can you suggest to get this
