Week 47: #introduceyourself Curation Post

There has been some stabilization as of regarding the price of Steem although it has settled at a point lower than what we would all like to see. However, the lows of 2018 continue to hold and it feels as if it is tempting to buy here to continue the accumulation phase. I have yet to make my monthly purchase as the funds set aside have decreased due to other Crypto purchases I have made recently. It will be an interesting weekend to see how prices hold up before making a decision.

Despite the prices, the ecosystem continues to produce blocks as planned and the development continues as projects continue to deploy their strategies and the communities continues to love most of them. The fact that the protocol is now cheaper and more efficient to run is great for its long term sustainability as the low prices will force less witnesses to give up. This is important given the upcoming changes with Hard Fork 21. It may very well be the needed catalyst to move us forward in many ways, not just price. Time will soon tell!

@danielaavb is a young Venezuelen that is passionate about journalism which continues to be a challenge in her country. However, she is embracing the challenge and the passion to learn and network with other youngsters via a radio show. She hopes to continues studying about social communication and seeks to share her experiences with other hobbies like art and reading her with the rest of the community.

@exploreaus is the account of Lydia and Chris which have the goal of exploring the almost 25k kilometers of coastline that Australia has and share their adventures with the community and their blog. Their introduction shared their thoughts on how to support their adventure by following the harvest trail to earn enough to continue their adventure.

@minimalista just introduced herself and spent sometime around the meaning of the name she chose as she feels that here introverted persona us very simple when it comes to many things in life. She comes to try the Steem community as she has blogged and shared in other platforms although she does not consider it to be her strength. She has also tried video but decided that writing worked best for her as it helped her learn to engage and be social.

@bitmover come from the Bitcointalk forum where he has been a contributor for some time. In his introduction he explains how someone gave him a gift card to play Steem Monsters and has just learned of the other many things available here in the ecosystem. He is looking to explore and learn more about the protocol as he wants to contribute to its growth.

I hope this to be an evolving process to the benefit of the community so please continue providing feedback to support these and all the new users coming to the platform. I am looking forward to more new users coming and engaging with the community to solidify the social aspect of the #STEEM blockchain.
