His scientific name is Allamanda cathartica when his regular name is Yellow Root Flower, Loceng Flower, Golden Trump Flower or Buttercup Flower. Coming from South America, it was around Mexico to Argentina. The name Allamanda was taken from the name of a Swiss planter named Frederic-Louis Allamand.
