Cryptocurrency threat to banking sector? I have a question here, can bankers not use cryptocurrency? I would like to know if the bankers will face such damages if using cryptocurrency!
It is a threat because it replaces them.
If the banks use a cryptocurrency (a decentralized one), that makes it harder to control. If they set up their private chain, then there is still the third party counter-risk....which is what we have now.
