Visit to beautiful Maradola , Sri Lanka

Recently I got an opportunity to travel to a beautiful rural area located in Haldummula, a small town located near Haputhale, Sri Lanka. I was really glad to see these lush green paddy fields. They were very neat, clean and well grown. And the water paths through the paddy lands were full of fish which is a quite rare thing in paddy lands in urban, commercial agriculture as they use lot of pesticides.

Areca nuts plants added a different beauty to the area. Actually, this area was very rich in areca nuts, they provide some extra income to the farmers. I captured some photographs to share with you guys. And this is the place where I started my little adventure. From this point, whole journey was a difficult walk through the deep jungle. Was a very challenging experience, I will update you about it later.
