Here is an account of what I got up to working for the local charity: Sunnyside!
On today's agenda, we had to get on the bus to the local community center and re-planting the flower beds at the front of the center. This is a quarter-annual task as we need to replace the flowers and replace the soil, for the respective seasons!
Bus loaded and ready to go!
Flower beds that needed re-planting
There were 3 on the left side of the door and 3 on the right side, making 6 in total!
Our weapons of choice! ;)
Stage 1: Digging up the flowers!
Stage 2: Turning over the soil and digging up excess soil!
Found some unsavory litter in the flower beds... on hand to throw it all in the bin!
Stage 3 Re-plant the plants
Et Voila! Final product! Looks great!

Today was another reminder about enjoying life more and trying to me more authentic to myself. I always struggled with pressure and the need to achieve given a strict childhood and strict school. I am working with God and moving away from this unhealthy belief and seeing life in a different light and perspective. I would never have imagined that I would be where I am today, given the adversity over the recent 18 months!
