Nighttime Cityscape of Sydney, Australia

in #cityscapephotography8 years ago (edited)

I was able to capture this long exposure of Australia's largest city from the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Enjoy the view of the illuminated opera house, the port of Sydney and the skyscrapers.
Opened in 1932, the Sydney Harbour Bridge was actually the world's widest long-span bridge until 2012. The bridge has lanes for trains, cars, bicycles, and pedestrians. It connects Sydney's CBD with the North Shore. For pedestrians, it is worth considering using one of the many ferries instead; you can see one departing from the piers in the photo.

Gorgeous, I love the green on the Opera House!

Thanks! When I was there in 2016 they did a special light show for the summer olympics, pretty impressive!

Happy you like the photo, but I think no photo could ever come close to actually being there ;)

Haha, I must say that I also prefer Melbourne, but Sydney is a great city as well!

I love the high vantage point and you naked the exposure. I can't wait to visit Australia one day! Everyone that's been there didn't want to leave.

Australia is awesome!

Great capture. I really like as all the lights complement each other and create a balance in the view !
