RE: Focusing the creative juices

in #content7 years ago

This is excellent, @tarazkp. I hope people begin to open their minds. I’ve seen some powering down going on, as people have such specific expectations about how things should work. I personally feel that Steem is like a giant playground where you can find any kind of fun. What kind of activity would you like? Check that out for a while, and if it doesn’t suit you or you feel ready to try something new, or maybe you see some friends playing elsewhere, then go try something else. Go hang out where your interests are, to your point. There is endless opportunity to explore.

If I had more time, I would be writing, posting and connecting on Steem many hours a day, supporting the new tribes and helping more people to see the light. (It’s unfortunately not possible due to my very demanding job, but I have hopes for the future!)

I like your observation that more people are writing better posts and finding their voice. That is incredibly exciting. And those with imagination and heart will catch on. I believe it’s only a matter of time before that trend starts to fuel the blockchain.

I wonder how they operate their real world business.

I know this well. I have been torn between three worlds for far too long and perhaps it is time to cut back on one of them. I will do less work when Steem moons ;)

I think many who target income often lack both. If necessity is the mother of invention, maybe people haven't actually discovered what they need.

Torn between three worlds is definitely challenging. I have the same issue but I guess I count four— my job, my family, my creative writing and Steem. And I’m not willing to give any of them up. 😁
