We've seen the low but looks like bitcoin stabilize around 8k$. We are all hoping for the next boom but looking at how hard it is to get new users on each cryptocurrencies project, I doubt we're seeing that happening soon. Much like you, I doubt it's going to make me retire early but I am in the long haul. Finger crossed!

I know a long blog post is good, perhaps in the past. But these days, not so much. If you want more engagement- the key is caring about what people have to say. It's nothing to lose for me because I get more knowledge instead of just being auto-voted, thanks whoever put me on autovote. But the essence of steemit is engaging as social media. It's difficult to get people engage when we're only offering one sided conversation.
