Warning Signs

1. Anonymous team - No doxxed founders, no real identities
2. Locked liquidity? - Check if LP tokens are locked. If not, the devs can drain the pool
3. No audits - Legit projects have at least one audit from a known firm
4. Too-good APY - 1000%+ APY is not a yield, it's a trap
5. Pressure tactics - "Limited time", "don't miss out" = classic exit scam playbook

The Checklist Before You Invest

• [ ] Team is doxxed and verifiable
• [ ] Liquidity locked for 12+ months
• [ ] At least 1 audit (read it, don't just check the badge)
• [ ] Contract is verified on the explorer
• [ ] No admin keys that can mint or pause
• [ ] Active, organic community (not bots)

• Etherscan/chain explorer for verified source
