Projects launching their own chains or protocols need users to test them. They reward active testers with token allocations at launch.

The Playbook

1. Find promising testnets - look for: confirmed airdrop allocations, strong backers, real usage
2. Get testnet tokens - faucets give free test ETH/tokens
3. Do the full loop - bridge, swap, provide liquidity, deploy contracts, mint NFTs
4. Diversify activity - touching 4+ protocol types outperforms repeating one action
5. Stay consistent - daily check-ins and quests compound

What Projects Look For

• Genuine builders (deploying contracts)
• Consistent users (not one-day wonders)
• Multi-protocol engagement
• Community participation (Discord, social tasks)

The Reality Check

• Most testnets won't airdrop
• The ones that do can be worth $100-$10,000+
• It costs nothing but time
• Don't use bots or sybil - projects detect and disqualify them
